Why The Sailing Club Kite School?

The school is part of the Sailing Club Group, a well-established company founded in 1994 by an Australian businessman passionate about water sports. In 2004 he opened The Sailing Club Kite School to be an additional service for the guests of his Mia Resort in Mui Ne - the best location on the beach for learning to kite. Our philosophy is to get our customers enjoying the sport to the maximum, in the minimum space of time - without any compromise to their safety. We do this by not wasting time in preparation, and allowing you unlimited opportunity to watch DVDs, practice on the trainer kite and ask advice from your instructor outside of course hours - an important factor when deciding which school represents best value for money! Our select team of instructors have been permanently with SC for many years, IKO qualified for 9 years +, speak a high level of English and are local to the area. No one is able to understand the weather conditions in Mui Ne like the local boys - it’s in their blood - and as a result we can proudly say we have never had an accident at sea. We look forward to getting you up and riding!
